Spring has sprung!

 Spring is here!

With the arrival of the warm weather comes a busy grooming season!  Please keep in mind that we book about 2-3 weeks out during busier grooming seasons.  As always, we recommend pre-booking your dog's appointments ahead of time.  That way we can accommodate your schedule!  Don't forget to add on our seasonal VIP package to your dogs groom!   Your dog will get a special bandana, blueberry facial, teeth brushing, and a yummy cookie from Bosco and Roxy's!

Check out our spring and summer apparel at happytailslondon.com/dog-apparel.

The Hyde Park Pond Fest will be happening on June 15th, and we'll be there!  Be sure not to miss this fun event with vendors, entertainment and sunshine!

Getting Ready for Christmas!

We're so excited!  Christmas is coming!

Happy Tails is the best place to buy gifts for your pets, as well as gifts for those pet lovers in your life!   As always, you can check out our selection online, or shop in store.  We also ship across Canada, so if you find something you think a friend far away will love, just ask us to ship it for you!

We'll be at the Hyde Park Christmas Market from December 3rd - 4th!  This fun event is located outside of Ungers Farm Market, and will feature lots of Hyde Park vendors.  If you're looking for Christmas gifts, this is the place to be.  Don't miss out on the fireworks on Saturday night!

This year, we hope everyone shops local for their Christmas shopping.  Small businesses are the cornerstones of healthy communities.   We also have the most unique products, that can't be found in the big box stores.

Christmas is also a busy time for dog grooming!  Everyone wants their dog to look their best for Santa!  Make sure you book your appointment early before we fill up!

Fall is in the Air!

We love this time of year!  With the crisp, fresh air, and the crunchy leaves under your feet, who wouldn't love it!

We've got lots of fun stuff happening at Happy Tails this Season!

On September 25th, we set up our mobile boutique at The Pinery Market for Barktoberfest! We met lots of furry friends that day!  We also met lots of other vendors selling amazing pet products and unique items!  Of course, you can't have Barktoberfest without beer!  This special event was fully licensed, so shoppers could enjoy a brew while they shop!

Every year, we try to attend Barktoberfest, so stay tuned for next year's date.  Trust us, you don't want to miss it!

Now that all the outdoor markets and festivals are back, we'll definitely be joining in on these fun events!

We have some new fall items in stock too!  From Halloween collars to warm sweaters, and fall coats, you'll definitely want to check out our selection!  We'd love to see you and your dogs in store, but as always, you can check out our boutique selection online too!  We offer FREE local delivery of all of our items!  We also ship our products across Canada!

In our Spa, we have our special fall Pumpkin Spice scented shampoo, so your dogs will be smelling even sweeter!

As always, we have our Fall VIP add on available with any grooming package.  This package includes a blueberry Facial, teeth brushing, a Pumpkin Spiced Latte Cookie from Bosco and Roxy's, and a Barkenstein Design Bandana!  Your dog will love it!

It's hard to believe that we've been at our new location for over a year now!  We've settled into 1712 Hyde Park road just nicely, and we're happy to have so many great neighbours like Gymworld, Annie's Chocolates, Jaydancin and Porcino's Restaurant.

We now have a much larger retail area to display more locally made products and pet supplies!  We've also had room to expand our pet food selection.  We now carry more Horizon Products such as Taiga, Legacy, and Amicus.  The new Care line from Nutrience, as well as their SubZero dog food is going well too!  Feel free to stop by sometime and pick up a sample!

Our gift shop now has it's own area!  Our pet related gifts are very popular, especially around Christmas time, for those "hard to shop for" people!

We now offer cross-Canada shipping, and free local delivery too!  You can order our products online at www.happytailslondon.com/shop.  We ship collars, jackets, and all sorts of products from British Columbia to Nova Scotia!

Hope to see you soon!

We've had a very successful 4 years at 1073 Gainsborough Road.  This amazing location has brought us many amazing clients from the Hyde Park and surrounding areas, and we're so happy with our success!  Every year, our Happy Tails family grows bigger, and to accommodate our growth, we need a more efficient space.  Knowing we can't move far from where we are, we found the perfect location!  Just around the corner at 1712 Hyde Park Road, the perfect space to suit our needs.

Our plan is to be ready to open in our new location by mid-November.  We promise to keep you updated every step of the way.

Be sure to visit our Facebook page for updates!  We can't wait to see you there!

We're Back!

Happy Tails is back open for grooming again!  We are so excited to see all of our doggy friends again!
Things have changed a lot around here though.   We've had to adapt and adjust to all or our new safety protocols in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Our recent closure due to Covid-19 has changed the way we do business drastically.  Being closed for 8 weeks, during our busiest season, has backed us up more that we could ever imagine.  We’ve never experienced anything like this before, and we’re doing our best to handle it as efficiently as possible.

We just wanted to update everybody who is still waiting for a call or email from us, so you’re not left

wondering if we forgot about you!

We have made our way through over 200 phone messages and over 300 emails, but we still have a lot more clients to reach out to.  At this point, we’re booked until July.

We’ve decided to stop booking any more appointments at this point and will re-evaluate the situation in a few weeks.  We are hoping we might be able to open up more spots in June if we use a little creativity with our small space!

We hope you can understand we’re all working as hard as we can, and as safely as we can during this difficult time.

If you need just a nail trim, please let us know, we can arrange an appointment.

Thanks for your understanding.

Covid-19 Update

To the valued clients and customers of Happy Tails,
In compliance with Covid-19 Guidelines announced by the government of Ontario, we are not offering any grooming services during this time.  In addition to that as of Monday, April 6th, we will no longer be offering in store sales of our pet food or supplies.
We will continue to offer sales of our products through curb side pick-up or you can take advantage of our FREE delivery within the London area.
Payments can be made through e transfer to londonhappytails@gmail.com or by phone for credit card payment at 519-963-0466.
Just call when you arrive and we'll bring your order outside to your car.
We hope everybody stays healthy and safe during this difficult time.  We can't wait to start grooming all the dogs again.  We miss seeing all the wagging tails, and our client's smiling faces.
Take care,
Joanne

2018 Remembered

We had a lot of fun in 2018 and we thought that it would be nice to create a small album highlighting many of the memories that were created at Happy Tails, throughout the year!

We all learned so much at the Let's Groom Show in Niagara Falls in February.   We felt so lucky to have the opportunity to attend this year.  Continuing education is an important part of our jobs here at Happy Tails.  We enjoy taking courses that teach us how to perfect our grooms, so we can provide the top quality grooms that our clients expect.
